Celebrities take to the Catwalk at STUDIO 8's debut show for Dubai Fashion Week....
The
show kicked off with Bollywood star, Mahima
Taking to the stage at the end of the show, Sarah Belhasa, invited her two sons Abdullah, 9, and Rashid, 7, to join her. The two boys wore special khandhora designs by Hatem Al-Akeel, who will also be stocking his women’s and kids’ collections at Studio 8. Following the show, Sarah Belhasa said, “I am thrilled at the response we received from the show. Everybody was so excited by the designs we presented and now they are looking forward to the store opening at the end of April. |
Studio
8 made a huge impact with its debut show at Dubai Fashion Week last
night. This highly-anticipated show attracted the crème de
la crème of VIPs and fashionistas from Dubai and India, and
did not disappoint the star-studded audience.
Choudary,
walking the ramp in dazzling designs by Pria Kataaria Puri. As part
of the show, Studio 8 displayed designs from four other designers
who will all be available from the multi-brand boutique when it
opens at the end of April. Sweety Exclusive showed a collection
of stunning abayas, while Aiisha Ramadan displayed a selection of
beautifully elegant dresses in this season’s tropical colours.

impressed the crowd with his intricately embroidered pieces and
by sending Pakistani super model, Mehreen Syed, down the catwalk
in his designs. Ending the show in dramatic fashion, Manish Malhotra
– who was present at the event – dressed his models
in a collection of fashion-forward black and gold designs that were
recently shown as part of Mumbai fashion week. The highlight of
his collection was the appearance of Bollywood star, Tushaar Kapoor,
dressed in Manish Malhotra’s menswear.
